How do I adjust the Update Interval for Cached Feeds? << Return to the Getting Started Menu. By default - the Feed Synchronization Tool is run every 30 minute cycles by the Windows Task Scheduler. You can change these settings (and run the synchronization process more or less frequently) - via the standard configuration dialogs provided by the Task Scheduler. To access the Task Scheduler - click your Windows Start Menu - and navigate to the folder Program Files | Accessories | System Tools program folder and click the 'Task Scheduler' Icon. The task BSH2Sync (which runs the Headlines 2 Feed Synchronization) can then be modified accordingly. (please read the help files available with Task Scheduler for more information on modifying/managing scheduled tasks). Please also see the installed Release Notes File for more detailed information on the Synchronization Tool. Please visit our online FAQ if you require further assistance - or Contact Us via Email. |
