► Big Screen EPG Product Licensing Overview

Big Screen EPG is a commercial product which is provided to registered users (who sign up for and obtain a unique Serial Number) and offers both 'free' (unpaid) and 'suscription' (paid) based licensing. Available Licensing Options The following licensing options are available for 'personal' use of this product (see definition under table for more information on personal vs commercial usage) - Family License : The 'paid' subscription based licensing system (offered as a 'Family License') is designed to provide a fair and low cost way for those wishing to use the fully featured product for 'personal' (non commercial) use accross multiple Windows 7 Media Center machines (and Media Center Extenders) within their household/dwelling. Please see below for the full terms of usage for the 'Family License'. 30 Day Trial (free) : All personal/non-commercial users of Big Screen EPG are also initially offered a once-off '30 Day' free trial of the full version of this product when they initially register for their Unique Serial Number - and allows you to test out the full feature set of the paid product so you can determine if you are 100% happy with the product before any purchasing decision needs to be made. *Free* Version :  A 'free' (non paid) licensing model is also made available - which offers a cut-down/limited version of this product (see table below) to the Media Center community - and is strictly for 'personal' use on a single Media Center machine. This 'free' license is automatically provided to Big Screen EPG users by default when their '30 day trial period' or 'paid subscription' period expires - and allows for continued use of the product (subject to restrictions and cut-down features). If you wish to use this product for commercial usage  - you are can either purchase a Family License and install it on a Single Machine only. (and would fall under the terms/conditions for Single Machine Licenses detailed on the product purchase page) - or you can contact us to discuss other options. (such as buying OEM Licenses in bulk for your customers).  Please see section below for more information on available options for commercial users of this product. Paid vs Free vs Trial Feature Matrix Please Note :  The Actual EPG Data used by this product (in form of XMLTV Files) are not supplied by bigscreenglobal.com or mobilewares.net - and must be obtained from external/3rd party providers (or downloaded/scraped by external software). Yes - may be installed on a single Media Center machine (subject to terms listed below) Family License Terms/Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy The Big Screen EPG 'Family License' (available for purchase) - allows you to install and use allows you to install the purchased product on up to 5 x Windows Media Center Machines using the supplied Serial Number in a single household which share same internet connection (and is strictly to be used for 'personal' / 'non commercial use' only). Some examples of acceptable 'personal' use of the Family License include : Installing Big Screen EPG with a single Serial Number on up to 5 machines within a single residence (ie. house, flat, unit, townhouse, single apartment) - where the machines are owned and operated by members of the same immediate or extended family for personal use - and all machines utilize the same shared internet connection. Installing Big Screen EPG with a single Serial Number on up to 5 machines within a single 'shared'residence (ie. house, flat, unit, townhouse, single apartment) - where the machines are owned and operated by co-tenants listed on a single rental agreement - and all machines utilize the same shared internet connection. Installing Big Screen EPG with a single Serial Number on up to 5 machines within a single room (such as hotel room, college room, boarding house) - where the machines are owned and used by a single person (or up to 2 x roomates) and share a single internet connection. The following examples illustrate unacceptable use of a 'Family License' or Big Screen EPG 'free' license - and hence multiple Family Licenses would need to be purchased - or commercial agreements reached with mobilewares.net  : Installing Big Screen EPG with a single Serial Number on more than one computer in a commercial or non residential premises - such as workplace, retail/wholesale shop, educational facilty, hotel, boarding house, serviced apartments etc. Sharing a single Big Screen EPG Serial Number between 'friends' / 'family' / 'others' who do not all reside in a single residence (as described above) or do not all share a single residential internet connection. Pre-Installing Big Screen EPG with a Serial Number on Media Center pc's that are being sold (ie. OEM Dealers). 'Commercial' Use of Big Screen EPG If you are a commercial entity (or do not fall in the category of 'personal' use as per above terms/conditions) and wish to use this product - you may instead purchase a 'Family License' and be permitted to use the provided Serial Number on a Single Machine only. (and therefor will fall under the terms/conditions of bigscreenglobal 'Single Machine Licenses' as detailed on the product purchase page). Please note that usage of the 'free' version of this product in a commercial environment is strictly prohibited - however the '30 day trial' is offered for the purpose of 'evaluation' only. Also note that all metadata produced by this product is copyright of mobilewares.net (in form of data files, injection of data to local database etc) - and may not be republished in any way.
